Ok, so if I'm correct, here are the major "Mongrelisms" that are currently in our vernacular:

Dumbutt  I'm not quite sure what a dumbutt is, but I know that Mrmidi can tell us!

Daddog  When one pulls a "daddog", you have rolled a truck,  usually with friendly inf onboard!

Luckydog or Muted Mike-Gate you spend 30+ minutes with the CO trying to figure out what’s wrong with TS or VOX… to later find out your Mike was on MUTE!!!

Swager People who perform a "swager" are accomplished at killing themselves(or other friendlies, or both!) with a grenade. Topman did this last night at the firebase and we all got a good laugh out of it.

Teedog Performing a "teedog" is actually very easy. All you have to do is become impatient and yell out "I'm moving up!", move your tank up to within tweny feet of an enemy infantry spawn, then promptly get sapped.  The "teedog" manuever was perfected last night by it's namesake at the firebase we had camped. That was an instant classic!  Cheesy

Makarov v. To ferry squad members on a tank at full speed and hitting a berm killing all passangers. The FB cap was lost when the Mongrel squad makaroved on the way to surppress it. Bonus points for saying "Where did that berm come from" immediately after.

Wanker  v. To wanker - To use binoculars while standing in the clear with no close protection pointing out various close-in dangers to squadmates, resulting in your immediate death from said danger.  Bonus points for saying something like "Hey Swager, look, a panzer" right before your death.

Do we have any others that anyone can think of?

Nice list! I witnessed the "teedog" first hand. Tried to get a shot off on sapper as I was pulling up to base but it was too late. Actually glad I missed otherwise we wouldn't have the Mongrelisms "pulling a teedog."   Cheesy

Makarov

v. Makaroved , makaroving ,

LOL Sunking!

We may have to ammend the qualifications to receive a Purple Hearworm award.  The Makarov and Teedog incidents are just too good not to earn one. I'll get with Mrmidi on this and see what we can come up with.

LOL

I will live in infamy. Smiley

SunKing asked me the other day about my account. I have two week off coming soon. I think I will keep it open over Christmas break so I can play some. I have not played WWIIOL in about 2 months since any free play time has been in AH, but I will have a lot of time during Christmas break. Smiley

I will have to check the downloads so I don' t have to download for a week during break. Smiley

To wanker - To standing in the clear with no close protection pointing out various close-in dangers to squadmates without the use of binoculors.

I wankered

We were wankering

This term is not to be confused with the definition of the same term used in the phrase "What a wanker".  Even though a wanker can perform a wankering function.

We have a new Mongrelism!!!!!  It’s will be named after it’s founder “LuckyDog” aka Muted Mike-Gate.

The problem doesn’t even have anything to do with the game. It has to do with ones headset (mainly the VOX-Mike). Basically you spend 30+ minutes with the CO trying to figure out what’s wrong with TS or VOX… to later find out your Mike was on MUTE!!!  protest  argue
“LuckyDog” or Muted Mike-Gate. icon_biggrin
