I'm going to have to make a wheel change. Since my Momo wheel doesn't have 900 degrees of rotation... it's killing some of my smoothness. I'm going to buy the G27 soon (not soon enough)... maybe the middle of March when my cash flow is better.

I'm okay with COT cars on Daytona, DP and IndyCars... but those are only good when we do special events. On short track ovals I'm having problems (a lot of problems with the SK Mods).

I was planning to buy pedals first... but I can't wait.. I'm sure the G27 pedals are good enough for now. But later on I'll buy the.......
Club Sports Pedals
and the

Lighting SST Shifter.

I’m really starting to have a tough time with my wheel now, especially with the NASCAR Trucks and Nationwide cars. Since my wheel only has 270 wheel rotation it seems to work 1:1 ratio (Sim to real world) rotation into about 245 degrees… then the next 25 degrees is like 25:1  BangHead… so anytime I go past that 245 degrees it moves from liner to progressive and there’s a really good chance I will get loose…. On the IndyCars, DP, and even GT1 Corvettes it works fine because their real life steering box is only 270 degrees from lock-to-lock…. But a NASCAR Truck, Nationwide, even TDi Cars is 900 degrees.

I’m at a stand still in iRacing until I buy a 900 degree wheel (like the G27) which I won’t be able to buy until March 12th or so.

Okay, I couldn't wait any longer... I went out and got me a G27... I got at Best Buy and it was an open box for $234. It is much better then the MOMO wheel. A lot smoother.... I'm still trying to figure out what is the best feedback setting for me... I might have a different setting then for ovals and road courses.

What a big difference!!! I gain at least .400 seconds faster at Las Vegas and I'm way more consistent and smoother. The G27 wheel is a must have. I'm still trying to get use to the gear shifter... but I'm sure I will. The Brake pedal is good... not great, it could be stiffer and less travel.... But it works very well...... The throttle pedal is AWESOME!!!! I can really use it to throttle steer now. thumbsup
