In this one I was doing good I think then we had an interloper come in. I had a pilot wound bt wasn't blacking out yet.

This one is where we reset the fight at a different field.

I don't know if it is throttle work or what that'll help me or what . we also had a fight in a 109-e4 that was just plain bad flying on my part but i forgot to turn the film on. Maybe our trainers can give me some help.

Flushed I noticed a couple of things in the 1v1 film.

First, do you have your fwd/up view set? it looks like you have the normal flat views and then go to straight up view. If you have an up view button you can combine them to get different views. This will make it much easier to track targets in the dogfight. Also it looks like you haven't moved your up view, you can slide your head forward to give you better visibility around the sunshade.

Second, speed; at icon range you were about 20mph slower than him. when you passed 3-9 line he was above you and 50mph faster that's usually not a good way to start. Ghosth and BigRat can give you better merge lessons.

Here are my views in the -1A, I didn't modify them in any way except to shrink them. Your views might be a little different based on the resolution that you run.

Normal forward view,

Forward up view (45 degree up),

Straight up view,

Back up view (45 degree up),

I got my views from TC about 1 month after I started. I don't think the film renders views correctly at least mine won't. Here are mine.

Flushed,

Just watched film 49.  Where you made your biggest mistake was at 3:41, when you went nose low on 2nd merge even though you still had almost 250mph airspeed.  You were trying to make up for this mistake through the rest of the fight, and you almost pulled it off early in the scissors.  The thing to keep in mind in a hog fight is try to make the other guy fight up.  You would have been in a better position on the 2nd merge if you either flat turned it or took it back over the top.  Bosco really had a shot after that 2nd merge when he stayed up but didn't take it becouse it was somewhat of a front quarter shot.  Nose down in a hog fight only if you don't have enough airspeed to turn at the rate you want or you are going for an immediate shot.

Film 48.  How was Boscoe beating you in those rolling scissors?  The answer lies in what are you trying to accomplish in a rolling scissors, an overshoot.  Boscoe was controlling his plane at a lower speed then you were, it's only a matter of time before you get out in front.  Look at your speeds while doing the rolling scissors and compare, he was consistently controlling his plane at a slower speed.

Flushed I don't know what your looking for, but I don't believe you did yourself any favors with this post.

"I won't name the 5 don't want to make them mad but 2 of them are in the same squad as me. Hehe! <hint, hint> Well, I didn't actually send them to them either but they can see it readily in our training room."

You know, (or you should know) that I don't teach advanced ACM to anyone.
In squad or out, its just not something I feel comfortable doing.

As for the way your asking for help, well you have a lot to learn there too.

Even if you were not referring to me, the way you put it left me feeling pretty unhappy with the whole post.
But the more I read what you said, in that post and above has convinced me that you were referring to me.
Implying one thing, then correcting yourself, then implying that if they "cared" about you they would have looked. Just left me wondering WTF is flushed going on about?

If you need help, by all means ask for it. But keep it straightforward.

Frankly I'd be surprised if any of the trainers are going be willing to continue trying to help with that kind of post and that kind of attitude.

Flushed you really expect your plumber to wire your house for you? Or your mechanic to fix your appliances?
I don't DO advanced ACM, not for you, not for nobody. And that is exactly what your looking for.
Yet you "implied" that your not getting any help, no one will watch your films and give you some help.

Well guess what, with that attitude, you won't get any help. Not from me, not now.

Sorry ghost it wasn't meant to be derogatory or a reflection on anyone. When I sent the films to Mtnman he said they wouldn't open for him. probably the same for Badboy and TC. My apologies for offending anyone.
