Was not pretty.
Good effort and plan Baumer. Just way too many 190's a sector West of our target. If that gaggle had not showed up it would have been fine.

How many of you guys landed? When I logged off I think Harppa, Rayl, BigRat, and Delirium were the only ones up.

I shot down a couple AC. One was hot on Ghosth. Then there was just too many to do anything. I saw about 6 or so go after TeeeRex. Bagged one of those, but then was forced to turn and run. I was RTB with Kansas. He and I were covering each other and it was working well, but then a 20mm round hit my cockpit and I had a pilot wound. After that I could not help Kansas and lost track of him. Last I saw of him he was chasing a 109 north on the deck. I just made it out over the channel and had to ditch it.

Logs are not working for some reason. I am sure 68Lurch or forHIM will figure it out soon.

Well I knew we had the toughest mission with minimal escort, but I was hoping it would go better than that.

In the south or defense did OK, and the attacks whet very well, so I'm happy about that. Also all the 68's RTB'd so that also was very good. The Recon worked out excellent with 3 targets filmed and landed. On top of that, Dantoo's guys were able to vulch a couple of the Ar234's in their Spit 14's. I can't wait to see that film!   Cheesy

I made a mistake of turning to our target early I think. We should have stuck closer to the 68's at A35 it would have helped the escorts.

I finished the FW190 on your six then went after the me109. He was stick stirring pretty good and I couldn't finish him before 3 more 109's showed
up and shot my tail off.
I should have turned and ran after I hit the me109 hard, but.......... once again I got greedy and paid the price.

Good plan baumer but I think we'd of done better going NOE considering how far we had to go. Plus with us cruising right past a field under attack, the odds of sliding around that were slim.

If we'd timed it to sneak past just before the 68's came in, we might have snuck past the furball NOE.

But thats a hindsight thing.

Overall your plan was good. Just got bogged down with too many enemy.
